In response to the Coronavirus Outbreak, please be advised of the following.  Effective immediately, subject to change, and until further notice:

• Hebrew School, Youth Group, the community seder, and all programming and classes and all auxiliary events are cancelled.  Hebrew School will move to online and at-home learning.  

• Capitol Steps is being postponed and we will inform you about the new date and further instructions as soon as possible.  

• Shabbat services for Fridays and Saturdays are cancelled.

• Daily minyan is cancelled.

• The building is in the process of being cleaned and disinfected including the air vents and filters which are being changed and sanitized.  

• As of Friday March 20th, our clergy and staff will be working from home remotely.  We will reevaluate in two weeks.

• As usual, contact the office, the Executive Director or the Rabbi for any emergencies or life-cycle needs and they will respond promptly. 

• We wish you good health and length of years.  During this challenging time, it is all the more important our NSJC community act with love and sensitivity to others and show our support and kindness by checking in with neighbors and friends and those who might be at risk or ill.  This is in keeping with the noblest aspirations of the Jewish spirit.
